Shady Records is an American record label specializing in hip hop music. The founder of Shady Records, Eminem, started his own record label under Interscope Records after he released The Marshall Mathers LP. Eminem, alongside his longtime manager Paul Rosenberg, created the label in late 2000. Eminem himself however, is not signed to Shady Records. As a solo artist he is signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment.
