M$ only charges money for online multiplayer because they CAN, it's really that simple! I have both systems and have used both LIVE and PSN and let me tell you, the only difference is cross game chat and a few other usless features like Last FM or Twitter or whatever. THAT'S IT!

LBP is one the best games I have EVER PLAYED, it's one of the main reasons why I got a ps3. That and the free online, I used to use Xbox Live and trust me, the only difference is cross game chat.
