About Shadow City
Dramatic, intricate alternative rock featuring emotive piano melodies and soaring guitars.
Shadow City formed in 2009 as Give Up The Ghost. Over the first two years they performed extensively across the Midlands. The band gained reputation, while creating an enticing and unique style and sound. January 2012 sees a thrilling new start for the band as Shadow City.
The band's music ranges from angular and audacious riffs to delicate and sophisticated melodies. Shadow City draws influence from an extensive range of sources, with subtle dynamics reminiscent of Elbow, towering crescendos evocative of Muse, and a musical curiosity inspired by Radiohead.
