@tonyss9 now that I think about it, The Deer Hunter really isn't that much of a war movie so I would say Full Metal Jacket gets the nod over The Deer Hunter (as a Vietnam War movie, not as a movie), but Apocalypse Now is a fuckin insane movie and easily the best War movie of all time
