I don't care if you need a fairy tale to survive in this world, as long as you realize what it is - nothing more.
Google critical thinking, or look it up on You Tube, and then apply it to your religion. Nothing that is true is harmed by the process of critical thinking.
Argumentum ad consequentiam (Latin for argument to the consequences), is an argument that concludes a premise (typically a belief) to be either true or false based on whether the premise leads to desirable or undesirable consequences.

One reason I dispute religion:
Religious people have no regard or respect for diversity. They cannot tolerate other views, or views that contradict their dogma. Even though they live in a fantasy, they constantly push their make believe rules upon the society.
I feel it is an important part and healthy process to question everything you meet in your life. If you don't question things, you will fall victim to others and the will of the masses.
This is why I don't tolerate religion:
- I do not tolerate oppression, indoctrination nor discrimination
- I don't accept people meddling in the affairs of society on behalf of dogma
- I can't accept that some religious people want to promote their religion - keep it private, I don't dangle my private parts in public
Things I don't understand:
- How some people can cling to every word of the Bible
- How some would believe in deities
- Prayer
- Evangelists
- Why creationists have to attack the very science that gives them their everyday comforts, in order to explain their "creator"
