The whole thing of the IAR is that it doesn't stand out on a fire team, but functions as the machine gunners weapon. Takes the same mags and drums as everyone else, so there is that versatility. They just made it so it could go full auto longer and better and can fit where the m249 or m240 can't....

@EcoEclipse I understand the origin in canon, but the pronunciations of some of the difficult words have been addressed in the writings. And, at some points in the video they abstain from saying whole syllables, or seemingly rush over them. I don't think it's a preferred pronunciation. More like ...
