As thoughts are energetic electrical currents coming into the brain, resisting thoughts means we are opposing the natural flow of electrical impulses through our brains. Since resistance is opposition and opposition is the condition of being in conflict or being antagonistic toward, we are creating conflict within ourselves when we resist our naturally occurring thoughts. We are placing our thoughts opposite to or in contrast with our selves. We make our thoughts into an obstacle, an enemy.


Life is a battle that must be fought with the cards we are given.

Rather than raising complaint at being given useless cards, it's key to discover how to use them.

Children listen to conversation, pay attention to what makes their parents nervous, see and hear their parents reactions to situations. They internalize their parents fear and it becomes their own without ever having been rooted in reality. Most of them have never even spent an meaningful time in the company of whatever or whoever it is that frightens them.

Your definition is from the perception of the observer who is a conformist to the status QUO. Is the status QUO a good thing? Hitler used to pray for victory as did his generals. I am sure they felt the Americans were "rogues".

A Rogue is a Man/Woman who is no longer obedient, belonging, or accepted and hence, not controllable

A Rogue is an INDEPEDENT THINKER, who breaks away from the herd mentality.


To give you and your readers a topic to ponder and discuss, I would like to obtain feedback on what Jesus Christ said in Revelation 3:14, "These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God."

It is amazing that Judaic, Christian, and Islamic worshippers announce Amen at the end of a prayer, supplication, or thanks of a requested outcome; yet, few of these worsippers know that Amen was the greatest Egyptian God for over 2,000 years before the birth of Christ.

Perhaps, we should not fault religious leaders for their ignorance about the past because the hieroglyphic code was broken less than 200 years ago and Egyptologists have decipered what was written on Egyptian tombs and temples only since the early 1900s. However, there is no excuse for religious leaders to ignore the words of Jesus Christ and misinterpret Amen as being "So be it."

I really like this discussion, it's making a great point that I have tried to make to Christians as long as I can remember: Faith can be found more in the perpetual questions than in the answers because to challenge the beliefs of our faith and search beyond ourselves is to be true to our faith regardless of what we place our faith in.
