Name: Marty
I am a self sufficient man who loves the outdoors in the very scenic Rocky Mountains and all that it entails.

The pic in my profile is of a very good Russian friend and model who epitomizes everything I love to see in a woman regarding beauty glamour and fashion. I have an implicit interest in the Russian people, and the beautiful Russian Cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg. I am a student of Russian history. I also love the people of Japan, and their quality products and work ethics. I often listen to Japanese music and watch Japanese song and dance videos, along with other forms of Japanese entertainment.

My biggest love, is 70's music and 80's fashions. I am an 80's child. The eighties were a reflection of femininity at its finest, with all its diverse and dynamic styles in fashion, makeup, nails, and beauty glamour.

"SeventiesPopRock" was created to help celebrate and honor the greatest musicians of all time, and their legacies from the 1970's. The 1970's were by far, the greatest decade and era of music ever! Ever since the year of "1990," many have been afraid to challenge the "Hip Hop," and "Twisted Metal" establishments for fear of losing their lives, due to the much violence found within those cultures. As a result, many of our youth have either been deceived, or even dumbed down to some degree into believing many of these diverse forms of "so called" music are of relevance or of some higher quality. Before the late eighties, music took on a more subjective form in nature from various music loving opinions. However, that all changed beginning in 1990. MTV was largely responsible for the transformation and more commercialized music we find today. As a result of MTV, A new premium was placed on the video, and in good acting abilities, instead of the much higher quality music we were once accustomed to hearing. Thus came "Hip Hop and Rap," a largely MTV supported phenomenon, where both "Copyright infringements" and "Piracy" ruled the day. Many have been silenced by the "Hip Hop" and "Twisted metal" communities, but as the MTV culture has proven, "Silence is deafening, and anything but golden" when it comes to the necessity of critiquing the poorer quality of standards found in todays music.

Dear friend, Thank you for subscribing to my favorites. And we thank our loving God and Savior, first He died on the cross(without sin) to redeem us all then God said preach the good news into the world and when the good news is being preached into the world He will come again. God give us all the chance just to be save. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us all.

There is only one Rap song you will ever find on the great "SeventiesPopRock" channel, and it's Blondies "Rapture." Blondie was one very bad girl in her day. If anyone could produce a Rap song correctly and pull it off, it was "Blondie." And what came after Blondie, is what was known as "Ghetto Hip Hop and Rap music" beginning with M.C. Hammer, along with all the other Hip Hop artists unto this present day. This type of music was a complete abomination to both "me," and all of the great black Pop, Soul, and R+B artists like Radio, Ray Parker Jr., Teddy Pendergrass, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Earth Wind and Fire, Hot Chocolate, Heatwave, 5th Dimension, War, Ohio Players, Rose Royce, Emotions, Silver Convention, and many of the other great black disco legends of the 1970s.

"The comments below..."

I am a melody man first and foremost. I must detect the musical melody first in a song, then comes the vocalist abilities to perform the song at various vocal ranges and pitches. And after that, comes the song lyrics. Much of Hip Hop and Rap lacked proper melody, harmonies, and "music and song written" abilities. In fact, very few even understand what many of these Hip Hop artists are saying in their music. The greatest, and possibly only good Rap song ever, was produced by the Queen and true creator of Rap, "Blondie." And how could anyone who has understood the downright soulful, bluesy, and gritty sounds of Elton John ever take to modern day Hip Hop and Rap?

For as it was written, "Elton John I loved, but Hip Hop and Rap I hated."

Plus, rap was created long before Blondie and many hip hop songs utilize melody and harmony (as that is an essential musical component). Not all rap and hip hop is the same, it's a varied art form. As a fan of it, a fair share of today's stuff is garbage, but the older and not so older classics speak for themselves.

It takes a lot of talent to write lyrics well with all the various poetic techniques while sending a message. As you know, in all forms of music there are some good performers and some bad. Some rappers are hard to understand, but most (at least for me) is how well I listen to it. I can respect all the things you said in what you like about music, and I love and know about many forms of it as well. We just have different styles and opinions. What I'm trying to guard against is the generalization of rappers and their fans as uneducated degenerates, same as if somebody stereotyped your generation as a bunch of dinosaurs. If you don't like it, OK.

You know that not all (or even most) rap and hip hop represent violence and acting like an idiot, right? There's some real lyrical talents out there.

So why are there so many antisimitic people in the world? Could it be that many of the Jewish People have been successful through 80 hour work weeks? Could it be that the Jewish people put education first, and plan for their childrens long term college tuitions? Might it have something to do with the Jewish peoples success in music, the arts, and other forms of entertainment? Could it be that many of us non Jews put "pleasure seeking" ahead of sacrifice, hard work, and "crucifying the flesh" until important future goals are met?
