Hi...

My name is Seth Partridge, and I play drums.

I have been playing drums since I was 8 years old, gaining playing experience along the way in classical orchestras, church ensembles, rock bands, indie bands, singer-songwriter folk bands, and even a Steely Dan tribute band.

Upon graduating from high school, the drum kit led me to apply to post-secondary music programs, and I have one year of schooling left in completing my Bachelor at Humber College's prestigious music program. In my pursuit of musical knowledge, I have had the privilege of studying with musical heavyweights such as Paul Delong, Mark Kelso, Jeff Bonnyman, Rik Emmet, Josh Tidsbury, Paul Novotny, and Colleen Allen.

I have been a musician for hire for the last several years, and I love putting my unique flavour into a song, whether I am laying down grooves in the studio, or holding down the pocket live.

I also teach drum lessons, as well as mentor bands in schools of rock, and have been doing so since 2006. I have instructed students as young as 6 years old, to adults. I have taught both boys and girls, as well as students with special needs. I love seeing the look of accomplishment on a student's face when they master a new technique. Most importantly, I teach so that students can have fun with music, and I encourage them every step of the way.

When I'm not sitting behind a drum kit, I dabble in songwriting, production, and graphic design. I love books, film, the outdoors, politics, technology, and ethnic food, just to name a few of my interests, and I'm always up for a good conversation over a hot cup of the Starbucks Morning Pick.
