I have a complex problem which could result in my dog being taken away from me. My GSD lives outside in a kennel, and barks at stray animals,weird noises or people during the night. Not every night, but now and then. Our new next door neighbours are threatening to take council action. Taking him inside is out of the question as my parents won't allow it. How can someone make their dog quiet or not bark at animals in the middle of the night when they live in a kennel? I'm lost at what to do. They can't expect us to run out in the middle of the night at every bark?
