I used to be such a tomboy. This might sound silly but watching Audrey Hepburn is what made me happy to be a girl! She represents grace, elegance and femininity in such a beautiful way that it's empowering. I really admire this woman. RIP.

I think we give the media too much power sometimes. Lack of exposure is more so to blame. If you're exposed to different things, then the media has less control on how you think. I was lucky enough to attend schools that had a fair amount of diversity. Even though I didn't see good representation...

@squallthegriever I never said she was self-trained. I don't care if people helped her to become who she is. I like that she keeps most of her clothes on and keeps it classy. I don't care whose behind the idea (manager, stylist, whatever), I'm just glad it's done.
