My music rips used to be hosted on Infinity's channel, but I've made recent arrangements with him to split off the videos from the music that I've ripped onto my channel here. All of the videos are created and put together by him... I just rip the music. Thanks as always, buddy!
The source of my music rips comes from the 720p WEB-DL iTunes encodings of every season one episode in .mkv format. The audio there is encoded in 5.1 surround with most of the dialogue and sound effects contained in the center channel. While there are still sound effects and dialogue present in my final music rips, they are removed/minimized to the best of my ability without compromising musical integrity.
Downloads in mp3 and lossless FLAC are also provided in each video description - they are mixed to stereo using either the front surround or back surround channels. The FLACs retain their 48KHz frequency setting that the original audio is encoded in; the mp3s are resampled to 44.1KHz (for easy playability) and encoded in a variable bitrate using LAME 3.98 Preset Extreme (to ensure the best possible quality). None of these rips are 100% perfect in my opinion, but they are the best we'll get unless Hasbro releases an official soundtrack album.
