well, i'll tell you what. when the marines tried to attack fallujah the first time they failed because they were getting fucked up bad. and of course the usmc won't admit it. true, innocent people were getting shot, but its war, but the truth was the usmc got fucked up. when they tried the 2nd time, they had help from the US Army. This time they were successful cause they couldn't do it on their own. also in 1968 tet offensive the marines in khe son were about to be over run. they asked other marine units to help but couldn't help them out. so what happened? they asked the Army 1012st airborne to help them from their seige. in europe during ww2, the marines ddidn't help out in north africa, sicily, normandy and germany. but the Army was also in the pacific helping the marines fight in guadal canal, guam, phillippines, okinawa and so on. so, the next time the mariens need some help, you can always count on sodleirs to help your assess out and still take all teh credit.
