About Seizure Talk
A Vlog about seizure activity I have on a day to day basis. I will try to capture at least some seizure activity so people know what to look for in loved ones and friends because some are not easy to spot or may be seen as something else. I was diagnosed with a cavernous angioma of the right temporal lobe when I was 48. According to my neuro, I was more than likely born with it because I have spent most of my life having many symptoms of seizures that went unnoticed and undiagnosed until I had a grand mal that scared my husband to death. He thought I was having a stroke and called an ambulance. I was hospitalized and put on Dilantin, which messed up my liver and made me walk into walls, so they switched me to Keppra. I have been taking 2000mg a day ever since and I can't say I enjoy the side effects, but the grand mal seizures are worse. I still have absence seizures, aura's, tics, odd smells that go on for days and a plethora of other strange seizure activity, but I'll delve deeper into all those via video.
