About Me:
...God help us all.
-----------------------------
"Through profound pain comes profound knowledge."-- Sir Trench
------------------------------
It is a common Creationist belief that there can be no morality without God. That there can be no empathy; no love; no goodness; no virtue without a divine, omnipotent being to base all of this on.
If that is true, then one must accept - by default - that we also aquire all of our hatred; our greed; our anger; our fear; our evil from this being as well.
The Creationist simply fails to see this. As a result, they are mentally and intellectually blind.
------------------------------
"Some people have views of God that are so broad and flexible that it is inevitable that they will find God wherever they look for him. One hears it said that ' God is the ultimate' or 'God is our better nature' or 'God is the Universe'. Of course, like any other word, the word 'God' can be given any meaning we like. If you want to say that 'God is energy', then you can find God in a lump of coal." - Steven Weinberg
------------------------------
"All the blood, sweat and tears could not bring back the years when there was love in my life; when i felt so alive. Now all i can feel is this cobalt and steel pressed so tight to your head...your life's in my hands."-- Dirtfedd

Thank you. :)
2) I fail to see your point.
. Just as Dawkins says that religious people are irrationally immersed in mystery, and then tells us how science leads one to "profound and sublime mysteries," so too does he attempt to present to us something that only appears to be real, the meme.
