This would be so much more effective without the laughter - I would love to go back 20-odd years and see how many of those laughs were made at the time of filming, as I think any audience would have been absorbed by the script, the acting and the subject matter.

@Ozmantic17 the word you're looking for is "pastiche", as are the majority of HH songs. That's why it transcends boundaries between adult and children's viewing. They are fully aware of what they are referencing ergo not "copy-cat".
