Under other circumstances, I would probably agree with you. However, the same thing happens (ink wise) with my wife's Waterman Ici Et La. Clogs right up (yes capped), unless she's using J. Herbin. Also, the exact same pens, filled with J. Herbin do not clog over night, as they do with these o...

Ink cartridges come in different sizes, holding anywhere from 1.2ml to 2.4ml of ink. So, at a minimum, a 2oz bottle could provide at least 24 refills... just from "crunching the numbers".
