Score100goals is a new company that specializes in improving your on-ice hockey performance. Specifically it is a new shooter tutor based on angles and distance to the net. The new shooter tutor design is based on statistical analysis of 1,000's of NHL goals.

Name: Brett Henning

As the son of a former NHL player I grew up playing hockey. I played Junior hockey in Canada then was a member of the Inaugural USA Hockey Development Program based out of Ann Arbor, Mich. After this I played college hockey for the University of Notre Dame.

I read the book Moneyball that detailed the importance of Statistics for developing talent in the sport of baseball. I knew that goal scoring had been declining for the past two decades so I believed that statistics could also be translated to improve hockey performance. I studied NHL goal scoring and came up with the design for the new shooter tutor. The old shooter tutor with 5 holes is out of date in the new era of hockey where goaltenders are better athletes, have better equipment, and even more importantly have completely changed their style to the butterfly and hybrid. There has to be a new mindset for hockey players looking to score more goals.

The new shooter tutor and also the iPhone/iPod touch app focuses on 5 specific areas in the offensive zone. Each zone has a corresponding area to shoot for the best statistical chance of scoring.
