To what extent is the drop off in "youth vote" enthusiasm a result of the media clampdown and blackout on Ron Paul?

After all, if Obama is McCain with healthcare, both want more soldiers in - take your pick - Iraq, Afghanistan, or Pakistan, which, given our country's demographics, makes a post election military draft more likely, and if neither has a clue about how to address the banking / credit crisis which is a symptom of US and Federal Reserve bankruptcy (those T-bills that theoretically backed the dollar have been replaced by credit derivatives, i.e., toxic waste - the Fed's holdings of T-bills are down 40% in the last 2 months), what has either of these princelings to offer us except more incompetence, corruption, and stupidity?
