That generation Hitachi and John Deere excavators are my favorite in terms of style and colour scheme. I wish Hitachi kept the blue cabs. Kinda sad you dont see to many around anymore.

These were really good trucks. This generation was my favorite with the smooth headlights. You still see alot of the older ones from the 80's with the round set back headlights still hauling and working today!!

@clarity3670 I miss Dirk. Science, Make Yourself, and Morning view are imo way better then anything they have done with Ben. It's a totally different feel, I sometimes wonder if Dirks departure and Ben's style has been any cause for the change in thier sound so much?

@byront37 Well if you look it up the 944 is accually a Deere loader, the equivilant to the Cat 980 or 988. So the loader I think your refering to is the Cat 994. That loader is massive. Cat did make a 944 i believe but that was back in the 1960s before it was replaced by the 950!
