@jugchord yeah the climax in oldboy is pretty harrowing, but it's such an incredible film. one of my all time favourites. the only visually disturbing part is the supposedly real octopus scene, which i didn't actually think was that bad

i can happily say that boyle and aronofsky are my two fav directors still working today, if not my favourite of all time. imo they are the most original and unique in the industry, and their most recent films black swan and 127 hours are both brilliant
