Scimitar is a five piece Metal band from Victoria BC. They were formed in mid 2008 by Angus Lennox, Clayton Basi and the Anstey brothers (Noel and George) with David Douglas recruited for keyboards in 2010. Coming from various instrumental backgrounds
and Metal influences, the members of Scimitar all weave their craft into one surging musical maelstrom, gathering an ever-growing legion of metal brethren. Their first release was the two track '09 EP "Art of Pillage", that was soon sold out, then, in the fall of 2010,
amidst the bloody, thrashing chaos of a release show that will defy the ages, Scimitar unleashed their debut album, "Black Waters". Many of the pages of Scimitar's chronicle remain blank, as they have much, much more to offer the world of Metal.

Scimitar ist ein fünf-mitglieder Metalband aus Victoria BC. Sie wurden in 2008 gegründet von Angus Lennox, Clayton Basi und die Anstey Brüder (Noel und George). In 2010 trat David Douglas als Keyboardspieler dazu. Aus ihre verschiedenen instrumentalische und Heavy Metal Erfahrungen, entsprang ein Hurrikan der mit jedem Tag mächtiger wird, zu dem sich mehr und mehr Fans anschliessen. Sie haben ihre musikalische Karriere mit dem zwei Lieder EP Art of Pillage angefangen, das sich schnell ausverkaufte. Wärend ein Urkonzert in dem die chaotisch-dämonische Energien sich in den Körpern der gesammelten Fans befreiten, erschien Scimitars Debüt Album Black Waters. Scimitars Geschichte ist noch nicht geschrieben, denn sie ist eine Geschichte der Zukunft.
