Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense." ~ Buddha. "Fix reason firmly in her seat, and call to her tribunal every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there is one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blindfolded fear." ~ Thomas Jefferson. "What is wanted is NOT the WILL to BELIEVE, but the WISH to FIND out." ~ Bertrand Russell

lol its no problem..
this sounds good tho.. i was always interested in why ppl feel the need to believe in religion, especially from an evolutionary perspective.. like its all a by-product of our need to make sense of our environment and be part of a group etc..
so ur next vids will prob be worth the wait for me ^^

I'm so sorry Henry. Been really busy. But the good news is, my new video titled, "Religion and the Supernatural - Why We Believe What We Believe" is in the making now and should be ready to be uploaded within this month (November 2009). There should be approximately 12 parts... :-)

As for using a scientific method for identifying and establishing the existence or nonexistence of God: if an omnipotent being formed and maintains the very physics on which we make hypothesis, would it even be useful putting efforts toward scientifically for trying to identify a sentience that has, by definition, the ability arbitrarily skew results according to its own whim?

Don't get me wrong. Science is second only to empathy as the greatest capacity of man. But don't you agree that the very nature of an assertion of God makes it scientifically untestable? If so, the only possible responses to the assertion is blind faith, denial, or confusion, as proof can't be supplied.

"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." ~ Albert Einstein

Einstein and other great scientist do not deny the existence of the almighty yet u deny it without using a single connections of your brain cells I pity ur inability to use ur connections in your brain cells and doubt the number of connections in your brain cells. btw... you need to do more sudoku
