Excellent channel. I have been reading up on all this stuff and am hoping to slowly one day to grasp some kind of basic understanding. I dont think i have the brain for it at all. But it is so facsinating and head wrecking at the same time. Its how everything is possible. I cant wait for the future discoveries of the LHC.

These are good videos, but they are not organized in an easily accessible way. Simple numbering and consistent tittles would help. So would a comprehensive playlist.

I wish the BBC would stop dumbing-down exciting science programs by leaving out crucial information.
It is also a dangerous to "popularize" through short vignettes and mysterious analogies. True, these simplified explanations help interest neophytes, but they can create confusion in contrived political debates.

It was indeed funny how Dr. Cocks conveniently skipped over the mention of Dr. Abdussalam (who was btw a Qadiani and considered "Non Muslim" by most fundamentalist sunni Muslims)... However, most muslims shamelessly take credit for his work and apply it for all of Islam. So both Cocks and Muslim bigots do the same thing. They both discriminate against Poor Dr. Abdussalam (co-discoverer of Electro Weak force) albiet for different reasons.

How shameful of you Dr Cox that you didn't name the scientists that brought the theory of Electroweak Force.That just shows your built in hatred or Xenophobia? While you have named every scientist and credited him with the discovery of their relative work.What about the work of those who had given Unified theory?Maybe cause his name sounds like a Muslim? If that is so then you indeed are Despicable and Gutless!
