It's a little boring, isn't it? The same rhythm all the time, played on the snare, the toms and the basses - by th way: I didn't hear anything from the hats, the splashes and the hanging toms...

Can't even play the first part of the exercise and he is like "Hey, that's not so hard, simply play it!" Man, what an animal!!!

@JSkater17 Yeah, that's exactly what I mean! Singin' is OK and (often) works, but talking senseful NEVER works :-)

Are that crotales above the floor toms at about 04:16 ??? Never saw a drummer having included crotales in his drumset -.-

@passion4drums Oh yeah! Though it's a covered one it sound pretty good!

@baitkenh I don't know if I'd go that far (Buddy Rich for his style of music is also a great one), and I don't think you can compare a punk-style drummer like Travis with a swing-jazz-big-band-legend like Buddy; that would be like comparing apples with bananas.

Why so much talking? Let the drums say what has to be said!

The first one is "Der Königgrätzer", the second is "Preußens Gloria", then "Der alte Dessauer" and at least "Der Zapfenstreichmarsch" from "Der Große Zapfenstreich" - for the one, who's interested :-)
