Peace loving, fair minded Atheist.
Wouldn't the world be a far nicer, safer place without religion.
Religion is so divisive. It divides communities into separate groups.. each with its own belief system and each group convinced.. and feeling safe in the knowledge that theirs is the 'one true faith' .. pouring scorn, derision and sometimes even showing violence towards groups that don't share a belief in their particular myth. They meet with their fellow believers.. smugly patting each other on the back and declaring amazement at the fact that others do not share their beliefs.
To all religious people ... We are probably very similar people .. I just follow 1 less God than you do.. When you can explain to me why you dismiss all other Gods.. then I will explain to you why I dismiss yours !
Also .. PLEASE do not quote scripture at me .. I was given a VERY strict Christian upbringing and can quote the contents of the Bible better than most Christians.. including preachers !
