- Close popular San Mateo Campground
- Endanger delicate habitat
- Disrupt the watershed and threaten Trestles

Please help by urging the Coastal Commission to deny the TCA's application to the Toll Roads before February 2008!!

That is one of my favorite places in the world. I can't imagine it any other way tht it is.

ive been thinking. even with our last victory to save this. there was a menchen of a contract for that land. does that also mean when it runs up anybody can buy it and do as they please with the land. do you know if thats true? and if so what if a building company gets their hands on it? its nice it will still be around. but if the contract for the land is true in this form. we have another fight ahead us to save this great place once again!

WOW! A victory for the people. Thank you to all that stood up & said NO, loudly. But I do not think our fight is over. Please send the Coastal Commission a great big Note of Appreciate & thank them for their vote.
And send your letters to the US Secretary of Commerce, Carlos M. Gutierrez, documenting your support for saving the Trestles, to intersect Thomas Margro, the TCA CEO's appeal!

United We Stand. Wow. What an Awesome & Blessed Victory!

a GREAT BIG Thank YOU to all who showed up and especially to the members of Save of the Trestles Campaign.

God Bless!

The Toll Road is a bad think. Why should citizens pay more than we allready do!

This is terrible! We need to SAVE TRESTLES! San Onofre is fine with out a toll road!

State parks are for our enjoyment and I don't see how building a 6 lane toll bridge that is projected to destroy 60% of the park is going to allow people to still enjoy the park and local watersheds to remain clean. This project will only serve developers needs, pollute local water and does not reduce traffic congestion. The Coastal commission is the last in line to save San Onofre State Beach Park and I hope they do what they're supposed to do and protect us from this project!!

I am sick of the TCA's lame excuses to build this road. It WILL NOT relieve traffic. It will destroy a habitat set aside for protection against development. If we destroy this park, why not the next!?! NO ON THE 241 TOLL ROAD EXTENSION

Growth isn't bad, if it's done in a smart way. But building a SIX lane freeway through a state park is not going to solve congestion problems and the last place we need growth is in our last remaining open spaces.

Glad to see so many people have been motivated to make YouTube videos telling the Coastal Commission to deny TCA's application. Keep it up!

I can't believe that the TCA would consider building a 6 lane toll road through San Onofre State Beach Park. There are other alternatives. Building any kind of road has huge reprocussions on the surrounding area and to have all the oil slick, brake lining and other car fluids run into the last remaining unpolluted water way in Southern California is ridiculous. I really hope the Coastal Commission doesn't pass this.

SAVE SAN ONOFRE!!!

The TCA doesn't seem to be working at all. Toll Roads in California are a BAD idea. This idea of a Toll Road in San Onfere is an even worse idea.
