Restoule is a small village located near North Bay, Ontario, Canada. It is being threatened by a proposed logging route, which will run directly though the village of Restoule, endangering many people. Almost the whole village of Restoule is against this route due to safety concerns and decline in tourism, which it will bring.
Who proposed this route?
None other then the government themselves. MNR (Ministry Of Natural Resources) is pushing this route and not even looking at safety as a concern. The logging company Tembec thinks they will benefit from the money they will make using this route, therefore they see it as ethical to care about money issues and no more. Is this corporate curruption?
