We're here to Save Reela. For the uninitiated that's Ray and Neela. Dr. Ray Barnett & Dr. Neela Rasgotra. The Roomies. Roomies in love.
Yes they're fictional, but boy are they exceptional.
Many of us ER fans have been watching this relationship evolve from roommates, to friends, to something more. Shane West and Parminder Nagra have produced something really special with their chemistry...and they are masters of their craft in performance. Subtlety indeed. Over three years we've watched the relationship grow but in the last few episodes of season 13 their story took an abrupt left turn when the writers/creators/powers that be decided to have Ray leave the show without a resolution to their story. All we want is an ending. We're not mad..just dedicated ;)
How can you help? Lots of ways.
1. Sign the online petition: http://www.petitiononline.com/forreela/petition.html
2. Join the official Save Reela Campain website at http://savereela.all-up.com/ and visit our MySpace page at www.myspace.com/savereela
3. Participate in the Save Reela Mail In Campaign. (Remember, the mail in is just as crucial as signing the online petition, simply because NBC can claim the same 20 people are signing.)
There are 3 things that we would like included in your parcel: a letter (It could be why you love Ray and Neela or the actors themselves, but please no bashing of any kind. We want to be as effective as possible and that means being as friendly as we can. We are hoping it will give Mr. Wells more of an inclination to reunite our roomies.)

*There have been concerns from people with printing problems, etc. that they would not be able to participate in the mail in. Please remember that while we would like you to use the official banner and send in our token roommate advertisement, it is not vital. Our goal is to Save Reela. The token and banner show that we are united, but just remember that your letter is the most important part of the parcel.
4. E-mail SaveReela@yahoo.com as we are compiling your letters to send to John Wells. The deadline is currently July 7, 2007, but that is subject to change.
5. Spread the word! Post on your blog, your MySpace, your YouTube, anywhere! Get FIVE of your friends/family to sign the petition and send in campaign materials. (the rule of 5---if 5 of you do so, we get 25 people involved)
6. Keep visiting here, our official Save Reela website, or the MySpace page for further updates.
7. Be active! We want to hear your ideas!! In fact, we're desperate for any new ideas you might have. We're all in this together!
