There's so much I could say. But I'll only say a little...

Life, I'm learning, is so much more to the eye than we all see. In fact, life is everything we can't see. I'm learning this more and more each day. What does this have to do with me? This has everything to do with me, and you, and everyone. I'm learning that it's not so easy to love someone that you don't necessarily agree with, yet so easy to love someone you do agree with. But love shouldn't have standards. It shouldn't have limitations. Love should be endless. We should love everyone, even people we don't know. No matter how hard it is. Love, in the end, as well as faith, will mean much more than any hatred we've ever kept or any item we've ever longed for. Love is one of the hardest things to do, to keep, to see. We all have so much hatred in us, so much judgement towards others. So much sin. But we must think...where will this get us in the end? Each and everyday is a struggle for me, but I am learning to love. I am learning to see others the way Jesus saw others. But I can never fully see the way he saw and sees us. Not in this time, for I am imperfect. Imperfectly, imperfect. Me not knowing how to love others has nothing to do with the way I was raised or something that happened to me. No, for it is a human imperfection that we all struggle to obtain. For love is a virtue we all need and want. Sometimes we just don't know it. Where are we without the love of our Heavenly Father? Dead. Lost. Cold. Empty. He gives us love that we don't deserve everyday. And we don't even see it. We complain how miserable we are. Yes, that is our human nature. But we need to stop and think...how much torture Jesus suffered and endured, all to save us from ourselves, our evil and sinful selves. Jesus not only died an emotionally and physically painful death, but he took the sin of the world on his shoulders and died as a man just to save us, because he loves us that much. He rose again. But think...he took the sin of the world on his shoulders. Can you imagine how much pain and suffering and torment he felt at that very moment he died? I can't. Everyone's pain and suffering. So...much...pain. We're blessed to have such love. No human can give us such love, but only Jesus and God can. He gave us love, now why can't we give others love? We can't even give up a few dollars or clothing to give to someone who needs it. We're so attached to ourselves and this world. I'm guilty of this, too. But I am learning how much the things in this world really don't matter. I'm learning that in order to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, we cannot only preach it, but we have to live it. How can we live it if we don't even love others? It is hard to love, it is hard to forgive, it is hard to keep from gossiping. But it's even harder to know that in the end, we wasted this life when we knew that we could make something out of it. Let's stop living lies, let's stop ignoring Him, the creator of all things. My friends, just because you can't see Him doesn't mean He's not real. You can't see the wind, but you can see the effects. You can't see God, but you can see effects - love, faith, forgiveness. God's effects are endless and amazing. Why did I write about this in my about me section? Because nothing else really matters. I may have "gifts" or "talents" or interests of this world, but the only thing that matters is that I use them to glorify God. And to those of you that I have ignored, or acted "stuck-up" to - I'm sorry. I'm shy, I'm afraid to socialize sometimes because I'm afraid that I'll judge you, or myself. I'm a daughter of God learning how to love. I'll never finish, only grow. There's some things that I don't agree with that may make people not like me, such as homosexuality or abortion. But because I don't agree with what you have done or do, doesn't mean that I don't love you. I sin too. My point is, let's all learn how to love. It only takes one step forward. Tell someone how much you mean to them. Tell them you love them. Believe it or not, the only "power" we have, is the power to effect the future. Just by saying something nice, or saying something hurtful. It could worsen or better someones life. Let's all be the example God wants us to be. Not matter how hard the trial, He won't give up on us. Let's not give up on Him.
