@metalmikow you can quite easily argue they are generic, as they started in 2003 it's safe to say that nothing they play hasn't been done before and isn't being done by dozens if not 100s if not 1000s of other bands, and the mere fact that 1000s of others do it ensures it isn't progressive.

@microburn they do use breakdowns/middle-8's but they are used in the same way as other good musicians rather than the 'core' way of not knowing what to do other than play open notes
