Punchy, bass-driven pop with a dollop of funk and a soupçon of soul comprise the ingredients for the decidedly fresh sound in the debut EP by Sarah Peterson & The Vision, a collection of original tunes which Sarah calls "pop with a hint of blue-eyed soul".
This eclectic, jazz flavoured blend has an organic vibe which arises in part from the tightness of the band, both musically and emotionally. Old high school friends Sarah, Zac Blahout (guitar), and Ross Burant (bass), study jazz performance in Toronto. Immersed in sounds as diverse as Classical and Motown, Free-Form Jazz and Synth Pop it's only natural their music would cross the porous borders between genres.
