Yo & Hello YOUtubers!! :)

My name is Sarah and I am a 18 year old musician, self taught percussionist and drummer. I also sing, I love to compose music and perform.

I play many drums such as, Drum set, Tabla, Dholak, Ghatam/Udu pot, Bhangra Dhol, Timbale, Djembe, Congas, Bongos, Darbuka, Cajon, Kanjri, Roto toms and other percussive instruments.

I am also studying grade 9 piano under the Royal Conservatory music program and have a deep passion for Indian and Western singing. I also play the violin and just started picking up the guitar!

In additon, I like to blend music from different cultures using instrumentation in order to promote multiculturalism.

As a general consensus, women are assumed to be weaker than men and thus cannot play 'manly' instruments. My goal is to make a difference in the world by discarding gender prejudice.
