I am a single mom. The father of my kids had been run over by a truck (semi) when my kids were very young, and I have two great boys that are doing exceedingly well due to their "hearts" that are so sooo very good....at a very young age I introduced them to Beatles music, and most importantly JOHN LENNON'S post-Beatle genius....
I have a son who is what many call a genius--gets all of it from my father....my father is an MIT alumni, and he brought my son to Cambridge this last summer to check it out in hopes of my son going this summer, but I'm afraid the paternal grandmother put a squash on that one. She has this "heirarchy" as it were for all her 12 grandchildren...each has their place, and since she hated my kids' father, she hates my sons...makes it very difficult since she is the ONLY grandmother my kids have...well, enough of that...Both my boys are athletically and academically inclined as I was (more athletically to be honest).
I had a very hard life as far as death goes -- losing two of my four brothers at a very young age (one was 22 and the other was 36), and then my mom died on Mother's Day, 13 days prior to my second son's birth.
Despite the hardship, and growing up in Newport Beach, money is not even something I desire --need -- but not desire since I saw a boyfriend who I thought would be different in values coming from Wisconsin....Well, money DOES CHANGE people...
With no monetary help from the father's parents who have some money, my father and I are able to handle the boys' college tuition -- we are big on that! EAST COAST especially.
My boys are my life, if you haven't already figured that out. They know what good music is ~~~ JOHN LENNON!!! WHO ELSE?
