Right now, Congress is debating a law that would give them the power to censor the world's Internet -- creating a blacklist that could target YouTube, WikiLeaks and even groups like Avaaz!

Under the new law, our government could force Internet providers to block any website on suspicion of violating copyright or trademark legislation, or even failing to sufficiently police their users' activities. And, because so much of the Internet's hosts and hardware are located here in the US, their blacklist would clamp down on the free web for all of us in America and millions across the world.

[continued from last post] Cannot entertain doing something for someone else without thinking about cost? And if it might cost....then find that it's better to let them die in the streets than allow them to have what is rightfully theirs anyway? Have we really become this? Please, begin to see the true reality of the world without what the worst of us has created over it. Those things or only a facade. A sheet that covers the real world. If we would only open our eyes to what has been hidden from us since time immemorium, we could finally see the world the way it was always meant to be and see, too, that we no longer have to suffer.

Hello! I just want to say something, because I think it is such a problem in the current state of the human race. I keep seeing people shoot down ideas, ridicule people, insult them, etc., not because what they said is destructive or hateful or anything like that. It fact the idea may be quite good and even help people. But they get attacked for even suggesting an idea that might cost money. No one can even stop to look at basic morality and human kindness and love or what's just simply right anymore. They can't be bothered with things that might go against the way the world currently is, despite the fact that that world was created by people who coudn't care less about them or anybody else. And when somebody suggests a way to create a world where even our most basic needs are met, they become indignant and derisive. Are we all so ingrained into the box of current thinking that we can not even entertain a better world? Cannot even entertain trying?

Hey guys, there is a bill going before the parliament in Uganda that is anti-gay to Holocaust proportions. Being gay could (if this passes) get you life in prison (if you're lucky) and execution (if you're not). Even not informing the authorities that someone is gay within 72 of you finding out would be a punishable offense. It was stopped last year because of the international outcry against it, but now it's back and, due to their parliament lengthening the time it has to be voted on, it will be a threat until this Friday (May 13, 2011). There is a petition against it here:

They are, also, asking for phone calls to your public officials to help get the Ugandan president to stop this bill. I think they might have more details on that where the petition is. Thanks!

Hey, if any of you saw something around the net recently (some videos) that say whoever posted it saw a monster of some kind and then the video shows the monster, there's a good chance that was me. I didn't mean to. I was trying to film something using my Youtube page and some monster footage from a couple of horror films, but was unaware that the videos were viewable by the public, because I hid my channel thinking that might do the trick. Apparently, I was wrong. I don't think anyone on Youtube saw it (although maybe), but Insight tells me some may have been viewed on mobile or shared virally. That worries me a little (I don't want freak anybody out who might think that those were real). Well, anyway, they're not, but if you see something like that and you're not sure, I'll let you know if it's mine or not.
