I partly agree, if you are into cars I can see your point but Honda was first a motorcycle manufacturer and Soichiro's DNA still runs through that side of the business strongly. They scrapped the F1 project but wouldn't scrap the Moto GP.
Unless you’re talking of having a race from rolling a 100mph start the F1 car will always win because the bike chassis is primarily setup for handling and therefore has a short wheelbase and can't get the power down without the front wheel coming up. Or else it would look like a drag bike.
