Your comment about being gay and controlling the boners. _ I'm not gay, but in early high school I was totally out of control. Sometimes had to walk down the hall with a notbook held in front of myself. And then they decided we all had to take showers after gym. I was terrified. I remember walking down the stairs to the gym , like it was the last mile or last walk to the death house. And guess what - as I got to the door, everything subsided. It took a few times to have confidence, but it has never been a problem. Even at a drunken party watching a couple chicks get rammed by the frat guys, and video'd also.
