if it increases with rpm it is probably rod knock. But if it isn't quicker at higher rpm's then it cant be rod knock

My mytouch 3G gets the "H" symbol. I'm pretty sure all that just means hsdpa which isn't t-mobile's 4G because the T-mobile 4G is hsdpa+, and i get 4 mbps in the Washington DC area on that so i don't think that the Mytouch 4G is on the 4G network
