About me: I am an 18-year-old multi-instrument musician including drums, bass, piano, and singing. I started seriously considering music as a profession in 9th grade, and I ended up enrolling as a jazz drum set major to a big university (about 25,000 students, not going to say which one). A scholarship worth about 20% of my tuition was awfully kind of them :).
Currently, I am a freshman with almost double the ensembles and lessons of any other music student. I spend at least 2.5 hours every day in the practice room just trying to keep up with it all.
My jazz drumming certainly has influence in these covers. I'm not doing an exact copy, I love going my own way and not be repetitive, which is certainly the essence of jazz drumming.
