It's become my ambition to follow the LORD Jesus Christ more closely each day walking in obedience to God and to be led by he Holy Spirit. I am so thankful for His Goodness, Kindness, and Mercy toward me and the whole world. The LORD God is ALL Knowing, ALL Loving, We cannot comprehend God's love and mercy, it is beyond our ability to understand,
With that being said, God is HOLY, and RIGHTEOUS beyond our comprehension, and being perfectly Holy, He cannot tolerate sin.Sin must be punished. God is as much a God of Wrath and Judgement as He is a God of Love and Mercy. So, God sent His Son JESUS to earth because of HIS love toward US to take the punishment and wrath of God in OUR PLACE.
Even though I try to walk in obedience toward God I fall short daily even if it's an unkind word toward or about someone, or an evil thought or attitude of pride, it's sin and is detestable in the sight of our HOLY GOD. That's why I, that's why you, and everyone else needed Jesus to come and endure the wrath of God in our behalf. Jesus did exactly that on the cross. He was without any sin, blameless before God yet he took on our sin. He became Sin for us and suffered, he died, he was forsaken by God. So we could be accepted, so we would not have to die, so we would not have to suffer His wrath. So that we ourselves could become the children of God~ and live eternally with Him in His Kingdom!!!
We are unable to imagine how awesome and magnificent life will be in HIS eternal Kingdom!!!
1Chron 2;9 says
That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him."
God LOVES us SO MUCH, that HE actually humbled Himself FOR US! He endured hatred, ridicule, mocking from us, the very people he came for. He also endured the wrath and rejection of God when he became sin for us taking on our punishment on the cross.
HE is LORD because He is worthy of our Praise, Adoration, Love and Obedience.
HE is SAVIOUR because He rescued us from the penalty of our sin.
If you have accepted Him as Your LORD and Saviour then you will live forever in HIS KINGDOM.
If you refuse the ONLY WAY to eternal life then you will die in your sins and be cast into Hell.
Matthew 7:13 "You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way.
Jesus talked more about HELL than he did about LOVE. He told us about HELL to WARN us. Why??? because HE LOVES us.
Many of us are afraid of offending people and turning people off that they are neglecting to WARN the people about Hell. Many people, and I was one, believe that the doctrine of Hell is offensive and is a scare tactic. Well I can't help it if it's offensive and I will agree that it is a horrible and scary thing to think about, but it's not a "tactic", It's a Warning. Jesus warned us about it several times. We would be wise to listen. Fear is good if it saves you from everlasting Hell and leads you to Heaven.
