Like any other fine art, music is a talent that is blessed on only a select few. One either has this natural gift, or one doesnt! I am envious of those that are gifted, and are able to devote their entire life towards the nurturing of this art (professionally), and sharing their accomplishments with the world.

Light music from Indian Cinema has been my passion every since I was a child. Many a song have left a lasting impression on my memory. I am a great admirer of those exemplary artistes who have contributed immortal creations to the movies. I enjoy songs with soul-searching lyrics, and soft melodies that drift me away to another world.

I am an ardent fan of the legendary playback singer, Mohammed Rafii Saab, who has been my sole inspiration. I have tremendous regard also for maestros like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle, Talat Mehmood, Mahendra Kapoor, Manna Dey, Kishore Kumar, Mukesh, Jagjit Singh, Mehdi Hasan, Ghulam Ali, and others who have given so much to the filmii duniyaa.

Out of all my diverse hobbies, I have now been able to retain only "singing" and "sport". I enjoy crooning all kinds of light and semi-classical filmii creations. By the grace of Almighty, I am able to keep my passion alive with the support of my family, friends and well-wishers who create opportunities for me worldwide to sing for music lovers that yearn to take "a musical journey down memory lane" into the golden era of Indian film music, re-living their special moments from yesteryears.

Thanks to YouTube, I now have a platform to share my songs with other music lovers too. I would love to establish contact with like-minded people.
