just a correction if you don't mind...it's NOT a sleeper class coach...this is a slow local train with unreserved seats...these local trains are called 'passenger trains'. unlike the express, mail or superfast trains, these trains stop at each N every stations between two major stations.

i think those are garbage bags to be collected by a service train to come later at night

why do we hear 'clickity' sound in rapid succession...most rails in India are welded and the gaps in the joints are wide apart except meter gauge lines OR is it the loose brake system under the carriage?

i think the video was shot at Subedarganj, 3 kms from Allahabad towards Fatehpur. it's the first station after Allahabad

now, as an adult i mostly travel in First AC by Rajdhani Express whenever i visit India but as a kid in the late 50's and later as a youth in the 60's i used to travel overnight in a second class compartment, sitting on the side single seat, to my village by 14039/14040 [used to be 39 UP and 40...

what about the overhead electric wires? how come they don't get electrocuted?

Pak Rail is indeed in a very bad and precarious condition. i think Pak must buy /lease locos and coaches from India because we are neighbours and we have the same gauge our train runs on.

i wish he was alive to see what's going on there NOW! he was a noble man and would not have hesitated in stating the true condition of Pak today.

i LOVE this train...i used to travel to N from Allahabad and Saiyed Sarawan...it has been running for the last 50-60 years i believe. it used to go to Agra before then broke up into two sections [allahabad-kanpur N kanpur-agra]. later on, it was diverted to FarruKhabad instead.
