About this user

I'm just your aw-shucks southern boy who loves to enjoy life and be fit. I'm the guy who listens to his friends, protects his family and is loyal to the end. I want to enjoy life as long as I can and one way I can do that is through fitness, it allows me release from the stresses of the world and allows me to better understand me as a person.

What got me into fitness initially was sports, particularly football. I'd work my butt off to start and be the best I can be at my position. After high school end for me, I fell into a lazy state where i worked out every few days if that. About 6 months into community college did I realize I need to get back into the gym and concentrate on what I put into my body in terms of food. About year after that, when injuries and dehydration took its told on my body. While I was healing up I researched proper forms, began drinking water religiously before, during and after a workout, and then the nail in the coffin so to speak, Yoga. Yoga was a god-send and allowed me to quickly recover from my injuries including a recent knee injury from snowboarding. Another reason I enjoyed Yoga was the discipline, the attention to form, and the about face in terms of philosophy from weight lifting where you need to push your self everyday. Yoga required a patient and open mind, I had the second part from the get go but eventually began developing the patient part. In Yoga, you didn't need to push yourself to the extremes, you need to go at your own pace and not to strain to get better as fast as you can...It is a process and one I have come to know and love and supplementing it into my own workouts and the results have been good for me and that's one thing I like to teach people... Do what is good for you and go at you own pace, whether its slow and steady or fast and out of control so to speak lol. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I hope to educate people on not just fitness but also enjoying life as a whole and hopefully guide them to understanding themselves as a person...If you have questions just hit me up here and I'll get back to ya as soon as I can. I'll eventually put up some vids about some fitness tips and proper form as well as other random craziness
