@H3llRazing Have you heard the record version of his solo? more than once? That solo actually goes into a weird timing of triplet for around 4 bars and hence just 'sounds/feels' sloppy due to the timing change, but I thought it sounded pretty dang spot-on (if you know how the real solo is suppose...

@asianaxeman what i mean is that the re-sale value is awesome, you wont hardly take a hit compared to selling an esp or jackson etc., Kickass beat-it solo by the way, just sorta make that dude playing the SG leave when you do that tho lol

I dont get the solo. If you watch at fast speed at 6:07 your pick strikes the strings only ONCE, but then you slow it down and at 6:13 we clearly see the pick hit both the b and e string??? So when you play fast do you just use a 'ghost' hammer on? because clearly you are not picking both strings...

Very processed sounding vocals but he is by far the best musician in the band so props. Guitar is good too but this song is very easy alternate picked. Dad's vocals still kickass, specially dig the Stricken vid, but this is still a great effort.

@Shadowsghost specs and components as in what we would use to make military tanks and equipment. IE: it wont break down (i suppose anything can take a dive in reality), but less likely to break down rather. And it does sound like M16's if you crank it up :)

@Bohemia220 Why would they? Band is about to fall asleep, only one with some energy is Larkin. Crowd feeds off the bands energy and this is a pretty mundane performance so you cant blame the crowd

I dont get this. These are OD pedals to be used in Distortion setting to give you that lil boost for leads etc...not distortion pedals to be used thru clean setting??

Wow, The Calling started just EPIC, specially the vocals.....then the clean singing came in and I couldn't believe how bad it was...two total extremes. Screams/growls just amazing.

Rather see how his right hand is working. Sweeps are not so much about the left but rather what picking pattern the right does as far as the transitions when switching strings and motion (up/down)..or is there a hammer/pull off in there... Maybe its just me...idk..

Hey man, gj on the scalpel. I use strict alternate cause I was brought up in the "never use your finger and thumb movement unless doing economy picking" mindset. However, I have discovered this fantastic guitar player who ONLY uses scalpel for his fast licks and does a 23notes per second thing....

Picking reminds me of Steve Morse....very odd style, but Steve is one of the best pickers around. Cool guitar as well.
