Fiberglass Boat Repair
I patch a small hole on a 8 foot dingy. I used West System epoxy with the pump dispenser, which isn't shown.

Thermos017 has it right. Forget epoxy and all of the WEST system propaganda. Use polyester resin on a fiberglass boat, much easier to work, a lot cheaper and makes for a quick strong repair. Just make sure to prep the old glass work properly by wiping it off with MEK before fiberglassing the boat.

All of these fiberglass items made for inside of the car videos: Doesn't the stuff stink up the car long after the fiberglass panels are installed? Just asking because it does in boats.

Okay, they suck gas but thanks to large production numbers all of the parts are available at your local autocenter cheap. The leather upholstery is amazing from these model years of Lincolns, most old Lincs from the early 70's have almost like new interiors but rust on the quarters, etc. An intac...

Nice to have SoCal weather. In the NE we have to carefully pick our days of no rain for outside body work.

It has an advantage over the loose footed sprit rig. I will have try the dipping lug rig out on my next boat.

Uh, going by the mullets, I would say this video was produced in 1980. Does this crew still exist?
