Firearm instructor that identifies dangerous gun handling. In an effort to save lives and promote safe gun handling.
Basic Firearm Safety Rules:
1. All firearms must be treated as if they are always loaded!
2. Never let the muzzle of a firearm point at anything you are not willing to destroy!
3. Keep your finger off the trigger and out of the trigger guard until the sights are on the target and you are prepared to shoot!
4. Always be certain of the target and what is beyond it!
5. When the firearm is not in use. It must be inaccessible to unauthorized persons or children.
6.Always physically and visually check the chamber during unloading. Keep in mind, rule number 1 must always be in effect.
Every gun related "accident " or tragedy is a direct result of someone's failure to follow the basic safety rules listed above.
Seek training from a professional in the safe use of firearms. There is no substitute for actual training and remember there are no accidents with firearms, only negligence.
