The Gaming Den. Check out what I have to offer as I play my favorite games at an above-average minimum level.
Donkey Kong Country Returns Playlist See it here: http://www.youtube.com/view...
Samurai Warriors 2 is still inactive, but not gone for good. I still see new videos of it once in awhile so there must still be interest. Maybe soon I'll finish...
Brave Fencer Musashi is the current game I'm focusing on. I'm going to display mastery of this game since I have so much experience with it. Do you know anyone else that would willingly assimilate detrimental abilities?
~Video Capture Setup~
Pay attention to this. Many people ask me what I use to capture or record and it's getting tiring to repeat myself. Here goes:
I use 3 Different Capture devices: An HD PVR (Happauge, USB). This is the most expensive option and not recommended unless you have nearly $200 cash to blow on it. It works surprisingly well, but faces some very strange limitations.
KWORLD PVR 883 Crossbar (Physically attached, inferior). This is what I used to rely on as a capture card, but I eventually lost the drivers that made this device work perfectly. As a result, it got a lot less love and eventually because the least preferred. I may use it if needed for old sources should the need arise. (Stuff like N64 or older)
DVD Recorder (usually for multi-player or other cases). This works well, but at a price: delay. Recording on the DVD player has a lagged effect when what you do and what you see are not happening at the same time. Up to 1 second is bearable, but anymore can be cause for real concern without a secondary output handy when it comes to gaming.
I edit using Sony Vegas or Windows Movie Maker. I usually cut away to save time when needed, stitch where applicable, add subtle touches, possible music replacements, simple transitions. Depending on my levity, I might do something different... but let's leave that up to guesses for now.
I suggest Google searches. They can help you a lot too.
My knowledge about most games is assisted by GameFAQs. I can be willing to help you out when asked, however, you MUST try to make it legible according to Standard English (Example: netspeak, bad grammar or using "u" in place of "you" lowers priority. Typing in ALL CAPS is even worse and annoys me).
