Hey everybody (: I'm a 13 year old girl by the name of Maddie, and I horseback ride 3x a week, riding an amazing pony named Mel, aka Mellow Dramatic :) She's a 14.1hh registered paint pony mare. I've been riding her for a year and 5 months. We've been through so much together, and I've learned TONS on her. I appreciate everything she does for me, and I hope she appreciates everything I do for her! In my opinion, we have somewhat of a 'bond', but mainly, it's just us. Knowing each other, loving each other, appreciating each other, and it's not forced. I don't make her 'like' me. It happened. I think we have the best understanding for eachother. I'm glad I have her. She the BEST friend, the ultimate friend. She makes me smile, giggle, and lets me forget all my troubles. When I see her, my day brightens. She has a special 'effect' on me. And I thank her so, so, SO much for that.
I show her Pony Hunters 2'3 and last year we came 3rd overall. We've jumped 3 feet together, and overcame many other obstacles. She is my one and only, I love her so much. She's so versatile and challenges me. She knows me, and I know her, and she guides me along my horseback riding journey (: I'm so thankful I get to work with her!
