@XschlickX I completely disagree. The bass mix is in that nice low-mid to bass frequency that's easy on the ears, full, and allows room for the rest of the band to breathe. If anything, the drum mix needs a touch of tweaking and volume control. Otherwise, really cool track!

@fleaargento i really don't think so. He did string up with flats. If you have the tone totally open on a jazz with flats, it sounds quite exactly like this with slapping. You can tell when he does the run at around 3:15 that they are flats if you listen very closely.
