SacredWiki is a community driven project featuring content contributed from many of the online Sacred game-playing communities in an attempt to assemble, in Wiki form, as much knowledge about this blockbuster Diablo-esque game as possible.

Originally released in 2004 by publisher Ascaron, it sold 1.6 million copies worldwide and was quick to become a favorite of game-players who fell in love with it's unique, hybrid style of action.

Sacred combines rpg elements with hackn'slash speed, allowing the player to explore the world of Ancaria while wielding sword or sorcery. It even offers a variety of horses to choose from. One of the concepts unique to this game is that almost all of the game map is open to new players from the beginning, allowing a multi-play capacity with a freedom rarely seen before.
